Chaos Obliterator Help

I know absolutely nothing about Warhammer 40k. That being said, I recently got a Chaos Obliterator through ME20, and I want to understand what this mini is about before I paint it... especially since I\'d love to see if there are any conversion opportunities with this guy.

Can anyone point me to some good online info that can give me some ideas about how to paint this guy?

Obliterators are Chaos Space Marines whose bodies have been affected by the so called Obliterator Virus, turning them into living weapons. They are monstrous amalgams of Marine, armour and Daemon with the ability to generate different weapons from their mutated flesh.

Obliterators are massive walking morphing guns. Their arms and change into a multitude of different gun types. They move slow and are super powerful. In a nutshell.
