Hi. I bought a pack of those new Chaos Warriors from GW. And for the paintnig, i decided to go simple, and by simple i mean: not mixing any colours! i hate that, only turns out good once, anyways. I\'m painting them in Nurgle theme colours, pale green, etc. Does anyone have any idea how to choose the colours for the basecoat/highligt? By the way, i\'m painting it in GW colours

When you don\'t want to mix paints (I don\'t understand why you want this) then I think the best (and fastest) way to achieve some kind of shading/highlighting is to ink the surfaces you\'re painting, and then maybe touch them up afterwards with the basecoat.

And consider the mixing again :) Because the GW range is quite limited, it\'s very difficult to say which color must be highlighted with another.

You could also give a thought to the Foundry range of paints - they make it easy to pick shade and hilite colors by naming them things like \'Buff Leather - Shade\' \'Buff Leather\' and \'Buff Leather - Hilite\'. For army painting they work well.

For an example of what can be achieved with Gw paints straight out of the pot, look at George Dellapina\'s Speed Freaks army in WD (can\'t remember if it is this or last month\'s). Amazingly, he didn\'t do any blending and he is colour blind  yet they look fantastic
