Chaplain Raziel [WH40k] [02/10/06]

Raziel (www.coolminiornot.com/129236) is a pet project of mine.
As you can see, I did some pretty extensive (for my standards, at least) converting on the model.

Now, after a lot of doubting whether I can pull off a paintjob to match the conversion (hey, if I ruined it with a bad paintjob I\'d never forgive myself), I began working on the model.

Concentrating on one of the legs as a test of concept for the color choices and test-ground for new approaches for bone and metal painting (new as in different to the techniques I used so far), here is what I\'ve got:

What should I improve there? And how?

Thanks.

on the blue highlights, if you are going for the black metallic reflection, go up to white to get the reflection right.

The bionics look great, but the black could do with a teensey weensey bit more of a highlight, although only if this is intedned for display/competition/auction. As a gaming piece this looks fantastic as it it.

Mathew: Didn\'t think of that, but I\'ll try and see how that would turn out.

I\'m almost done with painting the helmet:

What do you think?

PS. The light/dark contrast is less apparent IRL, must be the result of color re-balancing I applied to the image.

The helmet is looking good, I don\'t know if tis gust the photo, but the eyse look non- existant and where are visible could do with some more work
