Cheap and easy camera tripod

Hi guys and girls,

I was browsing around on the wizards site and found that someone had posted instructions on how to make a camera tripod using a drink bottle and a few nuts and bolts. I thought I would post it hear for all the cash deprived people like myself

Here\'s one I made earlier, it will be interesting to see if anyone here tries it and if it works.
I think I\'ll stick with my £15.00 tripod from Argos.

Personally, I\'ve always had a hard time turning down anything that begins with the words \"cheap & easy\" lol

Nice idea for a stable base. It\'s only a static support though. You can\'t adjust height, angle, etc. But it\'s good if you need to improvise.

I use two tripods. At home a standard photo/video tripod. When I go somewhere I usually just take this: http://www.digicamshop.nl/product/2212 (well, an older model)
It\'s small enough to fit in the camera\'s bag. And it can easily be posed in different angles because of the flexible legs.
