Hi there
My first historical bust and a wonderful resin to work with
I kept him in the rightful uniform clothing although to change the colors was tempting it seemed the wrong thing to do.
Hints and tips are most welcome.

Not exactly what I was hoping for....but still nice to see....lol

I think a bit more emphasis on the eyes (both shading and highlighting) would help breathe more life into him.

We typed in Sean Bean (because we didn\'t know who he was...) and got this! Holy shit!
Now I can fix the eyes appropriately, thanks guys!

Nah! I\'d hold out for his brother Faramir :D

Tracy - Nice bust you\'ve got there :eek: The hair in particular I think is quite well done.

\"Is this some kind of a bust\"?! \"Yes ma\'am, they\'re very impressive, but we\'d just like to ask a few questions.\"

Ahh Sean Bean, better know as \"Boromir\" .
Greate looking. Great hair and uniform but i missing something in his eyes. Maybe the foto. And the lips should be a little bit wet.

However an amazing bust. I like it. Did the vote thing

Yeah, as soon as I saw it I thought Sharpe too - great work although I agree with everyone about the eyes. The hair is excellent though!

Did you seriously paint this without realising who it was?? ;)

Ummmm, blush
Yes I really do not know and did paint it with out any idea.
I do not watch to much film really.

We all laughed our butts off when we went to images cause of what you guys were talking about and saw him.

Sorry to admit it but\'\'\'
I do not know what he was featured in that the picture is from. Sharpe\'s ???

IPM did not know either or I would feel even far more ignorant and aged.

I will fix the eyes for I whole heartly agree and repost my results.

Cheers to all and thank you all for the input and the hair comments,I liked that part too but I am glad I did not make him a red head like I had thought to.

SHARPE is a TV series of Mini movies featuring Sean Bean as Richard Sharpe, a Sergeant raised from the ranks to become an Officer in the 95th Rifle Regiment during the Napoleonic war in Spain. Realy good, full of adventure, battles and ........well you can guess the rest. :D :innocent:

The books are written by Bernard Cornwall and one of my dad\'s favourites.
Oh and Fran bought me the whole boxed set for last Christmas, 15 DVD\'s.

Very nice! I personally think this isn\'t a bad representation of the character! My main comment, being someone from a historicals background, is that his jacket is not green enough. The \"rifle green\" uniforn is a very dark green, and the highlights should show with more green in it, but a middle green, not a whitened green though.

A great piece . :D
