Here is my latest work. The skaven itself is heavily influenced by a skaven stormvermins by highly talented painter Nakatan. I just love his somewhat cartoonish style and the way he applied that rust to his skavens.
At first I had this quite familiar type of sewer scene in mind and I actually had selected other skaven models to paint for it. I actualy don't even remember what gave me that initial spark to make this silly big swiss cheese base
I just thought it would be silly and funny idea. To break this image of grim darkness and all. But don't worry, next work is going to be all about the grim darkness of grimness.
