Honestly, I would have send them before if Pegaso hadn\'t totally F*cked up my order and if I hadn\'t deluded myself that Pegaso might have the faintest idea of what customer service is all about...:flame:

There\'s lots of ways you could do a chess set, even an idea as broad as good vs evil. You could use familiars for the pawns, imps, baby black dragons, rats, snakes on the evil side, and owls, baby gold dragons, etc on the good side. Not entirely sure what to do for the rest of the figures since you\'re looking for the non human type figures. Sounds like you\'ve got a pretty cool idea though. You\'ll have to post some pics when you\'re done with it.

Hey guys, thanks for the massive response on this. It will help me dramatically when I go to undertake this project.

1) Undead vs. Centaurs/Angels/Dryads/etc..
2) each side based differently
3) classic chess symbol on the base
4) free handed chess symbols somewhere on the models
5) going to get some of those round bases with the curved/raised sides for the bases

Again, thanks for the info and I will post pics on a WIP post and back on here after I start this project.

I\'ve always had the same idea, but really wanted to use the OLD GW elementals as some of the pieces.

Could never think of any others though. \'Course, that was long ago, before Rackham and such.
