Chesterfield Open Gaming Society (C.O.G.S.)

Hey folks.

I just thought I\'d post this to let any folks who don\'t know about the gaming club I belong to in Chesterfield, Derbyshire, UK.

C.O.G.S is the club which runs the Hammerhead show in february.

The meetings are on monday evenings from 7-10pm, although the room is usually open before 7 and costs £2. Every other wednesday is also a game night for people aged 16+.

A range of games are played with 40k being the current most popular, but others, not just GW games are played, as well as loads of different board games.

As a reformed Chessy-lad I may drop by, but it aint easy getting out to play games. My 2 year old puts pay to that.

It was in Chesterfield that I got into this hobby...it\'s Brian\'s fault.

Aye, if it wasn\'t for Brian and his little shop of wonders then all I\'d have pretty much known about the hobby would be the occasional trip to Sheffield GW, although at that time they were selling other stuff.
