Chic challenge WIP

While I await the arrival of my extender to finish the pirates tats, I thought I would have a start on my entry for the chic challenge. This is a little 40mm nug from hasslefree. I made the base last night and will get some paint on her while I watch the US open today. Let me know what you think and all advice is greatly appreciated.

Thanks for checking her out. The rag doll was absent on the last couple of models I did because I couldn't find a way to fit him in. Here is the work I got done on her last night. I was going to do TMM for the armor but decided to do something a little more colorful to stand out from what is going to be a dark base. Let me know what you think so far.

Id push the contrast just a scooch on the metal a little bit darker in the depths of the overlaping plates the highlite is spot on just shadows darker for me.

Got some better pictures over lunch so you can better comment on her. Those Iphone ones were terrible. Question for anyone else who has painted this girl. Is her eye closed? It is really hard to tell, so I am unsure of how to paint it.

she's 40mm, so a little smaller than I'm used to. She's an incredible little sculpture.

I'll have to check the tube. It is a Josonja color mixed with some other bits of color from reaper and vallejo. I'll get it tonight, I'm glad you like it sir.
