Christmas Lists

Anybody else struggle when asked for a list of things they want for Christmas? Especially when you're asked for two (one for your family and the other for your other half). Trying to come up with bits that aren't too specialised or expensive and trying not to just put down a list of web urls :s

Absolutely. Mostly, though my difficulty is due to my inability to wait until Christmas. I buy the things I want so by the time Christmas rolls around, I have nothing left to request unless a company does a new release around that time. That's why I have a back up of non-hobby things I need (usually new clothes), as during the rest of the year my money went to hobby stuff!

Not really, I usually keep a list of stuff I spot in adds and other places throughout the year. cross off the stuff I buy leaves me with 10-20 items come Xmas, usually a mix of hobby and non hobby related.

For my gf I just told her to be creative, she knows what I like and have.

Turns out she is a genious at that, judging by my b'day gift last week.

Do the same as Marjedi. Keep a list on my phone in the notes area. And, SUPER SPOUSE TIP ALERT! Do one for your significant other as well! When the two of you are shopping, and he/she mentions "Oh, I'd love to have that, but I just can't see buying if for myself" WRITE IT DOWN! When gift giving comes around, handy dandy list of suggestions.

Lol I do the same. Extra bonus points for you when U remember stuff from months ago!

I also somtimes buy things waaaay in advance if it makes Xmas or b'day shopping easier. For instance I managed to sneak a pair of high heels past the gf when we were in Milan earlier in the year.
