Nice paintjob, good dark colors and still all the details show. Cool conversions and a good base job.
Some of the \"basic\" troops(for lack of better word) could use a bit more highlighting to make shapes stand out at a distance.
And I would like to see a couple of sholderpads - I take it it\'s your own chapter? Voted

They\'re smurfs, unfortunately I don\'t have any shots of shoulder armour at the moment, and I varnished them this morning wth Vallejo matt varnish, and the fuckerz have gone all shiney on me. Any one got a good dull coat substitute or know where Dull coat is available in Spain?:cussing:

Nice stuff.

It seems that they are suffering from poor lighting. To me, it looks like they are being shot under flouresent lighting and have an overall green/blue cast that really squashes the colors.

I left a comment so you know what score i gave them ;)

But these really remind me of the style used by Alexi Z on her Marine minis.

@Frenchkid, well, I\'m in the middle of painting up an army I started way back when, in the early 90\'s, but as there\'s soooo many ultramarine submissions, I kinda doubted even whether to post it, but in the end my desire for feedback got the better of me. so anyway, I\'ve seen alot of people half apologise for posting up more of the same subject matter, so the irony is in the Rene Magritte work with the same title, I guess I should\'ve written this is not an Ultra Marine command group. bet you\'re sorry you asked now.
Funny thing is, how many hits this particular subject matter gets considering how common it\'s been, way more than other stuff.:)
