And for Eric I made a (very) quick sketch of Eric the wizard boy.. so you get a idea of what he will look like.

Cindy, Wow, Eric looks like he will be awesome! I really like that concept sketch, I bet the mini will be even better!

Ok, so it was shyly because I think I have the lowest opinion of my minis around, just ask becca, she\'s had to listen to me ramble on about it for hours I think.

But I wasn\'t looking for a job offering to paint them up, I decided quite a while ago now that I wouldn\'t ever do painting for money (except charity events like paint aid). Rather a fun project to help out a cmon friend, if you wanted, that is. I\'ve been wanting to get involved in something like this, so if can get my brushes on the minis, you\'d be free to use the results! I thought it would be a blast, especially since your minis are turning out so wonderfully! (I really really like the 2 you\'ve finished)

And I probably paint about the speed you sculpt with all my darn work now days. :)

It\'s on my \"to do\" list, learn to sculpt. I think my paint aid ogre was a big step, and a big learning experience, but far from a completed 100% green.

-Eric :)

Believe me Eric.. If I could paint as well as you I\'d be a very happy girl. And I\'d be the last to say no to an offer like this. I\'ll make sure you get mastercasts of the figures.

I\'ve done a fair few green to this day.. and though I had fun sculpting for eastern front and sacred blade nothing beats the freedom of sculpting for yourself.:flip:

Cindy, If I could sculpt like you, I\'d be a very happy boy! It must be great to be able to transform your vision into a creation like that, and I really like your vision, it \"clicks\" with me so to speak (which is why I\'m really excited to paint them!). I\'m glad you\'ve found time to explore your own visions in putty, rather than always for the other companies.

*evil grin* and while I was at the store today, this idea of something to do for your Mabel figure popped into my head, although I\'m not sure the full scene would be appropriate for your marketing, I bet you\'ll get a kick out of it (and it could be adjusted to work as a display too). I\'m so excited, I hope I get a chance to try!! :)

Great minis. If Eric doesn\'t do them all and you want some stuff painted, I would love to do something for you. I\'d get a big kick out of it :)

Cool.. not appropriate for my marketing... well if it\'s cool (you said I\'d probably get a kick out of it).. who cares... :D You got me all guessing what the hell you have come up with. Unfortunalty I don\'t have any spare mastercasts anymore (the two I have I need for the productionmould Or I would have send you one just to find out :D

I\'ll keep you guys in touch on the progress of my own line of figs and availability and stuff. Unfortunatly I don\'t think it will be very soon... but I\'ll do my best (get\'s back to sculpting as a crazy woman (need.. to.. finish space dwarf pirat with mecanical parrot, harpoon arm and other gadgets ;) If any one has a nice name suggestion for the dude.. he is still nameless.

Cindy, no excuses! hurryhurry, you can\'t tempt us with your own line of figures then pull it away! :D

Okok, I guess I can wait, but you know, time only makes inappropriate ideas even more so! *evil grin*

ok, also no fair tempting us with what sounds like a really cool dwarf sculp (who is it for?), you are quite the temptress this weekend!

But my painting offer stands indefinately, so when the time comes, and you decide you\'d like to use me, feel free! I just really love the feeling you\'re getting out of those two you\'ve sculpted for yourself.

Take care!

:p Easy there lad, I\'m doing the best I can, put away that slavedrivers whip lol (and here she desides not to insert some other of topic remarks popping up in her head when typing this ;) ) It\'s a bit of an investment time and money wise... And seeing I don\'t expect to actually make money with it I\'ll atleast try to make the loss of it as little as possible.. which unfortunatly means longer time needed mainly due to the casting (getting a productionmould for each figure I finish is just to expensive.. so I need a large enough batch of differnt masters (which only can be cast when I happen to be able to share a mould to cut costs and each time will take time to get made/cast). I will have 2 different masters relatively soon if all goes acording to plan, which means I have a few to spare most likely. The space \"dwarf\" (his size is about the reaper Werner dwarf size so he can actyually be used as a fat short human with a huge foot as well (the other is a peg leg) ;) ) and Esther will be cast up withing a few months. I can get you one of these each when I get those masters if you like them (or someone else who offered their painting help when you don\'t). Mabel will have to wait till I get to make the productionmould.

I can definatly live with that, maybe I should have you wait just for the heck of it *evil grin back* :D

Mine all mine ;). Actually it\'s made for the VIP9 from 1listsculpting (hence the sci-fi pirate theme) but I am sculpting him for my own line and not the casting option that is a possibility with the VIP for the set.

Hands, the mini\'s hands are much larger and longer than yours. ONLY thing that I could find to pick on... I still want one..

I have the luck...

of owning an original Cindy sculpt, which hopefully is being painted as we speak!

Sorry for the delay in getting you a pic of the painted version Cindy, but I had to wait for someone with actual painting skills to paint it for me. And she\'s a little busy right now.

When it\'s finished, CMON will get to see an original green and that green painted!:flip:

Thanks, Cindy!
