I don\'t know... all I know is that flesh wash was horrible for painting flesh. Good riddance, I say! :D

You can always try chestnut and see if you get the effect you want. :)

Flesh wash is a yellow/brown were as Chestnut is a red/brown. Snakebite watered down is very close to flesh wash. If you use chestnut then you will have to use a blue then yeloow wash to dull the red unless thats what you want.

Good luck hope it helps.

Among Privateer Press\' new color line there is a ink called Flesh Wash. According to the New Quarter Magazine 11 it\'s exactly what you looking for.

Don\'t be so quick to knock it now, it\'s a marvelous colour... for washing metallics. ;)

If I\'m feeling patient, I usually wash gold with either Brown Ink mixed with Chestnut, or Purple Ink mixed with Chestnut. If I\'m in a rush I just use current Flesh Wash.

The old one I never used all that much, but I do remember it had Dwarf Flesh looking paint that used to settle out of it after a period of inactivity.

Try thinning down Snakebite Leather with a touch of the current Flesh Wash. Should give a resonably close effect....
