You can soak him in Dettol overnight to get the glue off. It becomes quite brittle and you can pick away at it fairly easily. Just make sure you wash it all off before painting him.

Yep, that's the guy, beautiful piece of lead! And quite heavy. I have one to paint, if I can figure out how to hold him without wearing out my arms!

I should note, Grenider had several of their models "purchased" by GW when they went out of business, if you look at the old dwarf line you can really see it. That said I have a friend with quite a few of thier old dragons still with the boxes, as well as some metal Dc heros in 28 mill. they are just kind of cool.

There are only a handful of companies who's sculpts still hold up well after all these years. A lot of Grenadier's stuff certainly does.

Yep, many areas on this are more than good enough to be in current production.
