Thanks DaRat!! That site helped a ton. Im changing from citadel to RMS and VMC and maybe P3 due to cost of GW paints.

I just posted this a week or two ago in another thread, but I wasn\'t impressed by the Reaper paints I picked up. I tried a few shades of brown, and they all seemed to lack pigment.

That being said, I also recently tried out the Vallejo Model Color and was blown away. I found them to cover well with a great matte finish.

That being said, I use colors from pretty much every line there is. Just my $.02.

Jake, I have never heard that about the RMS paints. Did you shake them well? You gotta hear the skull rattle before you paint with them.

Well I have got my RMS paint and I really like them. The new gold looks a little odd but I can see it being used a little bit. I have a question thought, even though it has a piece of metal or something of the sort do I need to add a piece of metal or a bb pellet to the bottle to help stir it better?

No: the RMS paints already include a little agitator (it\'s a little pewter skull).

One of the reasons that I like the Reaper paints so much is that the company really stands behind the product. There is a thread on Reaper forums listing known batches of paint with problems. If you think you have one of those problem colours (or even if you just think it\'s a paint with a problem that\'s not on the list), you can contact Reaper to get replacements.

It\'s a well-pigmented line, but it was designed with techniques like washes, layers and so on in mind, so it\'s not a case of every colour is cover in one coat opaque for mass army painting kind of paint line.
