I have seen the Urban War building sets and they impress the hell out of me, and are better value I think than the new buildings from GW, although those are cool looking too.

I\'ve got some of the Platformer stuff, nice enough I suppose, but a bit rickety

Got a good look at the sprues for the new GW buildings while I was at the WW store. Very cool, seems like there is a lot of potential to put them together however you want, lots of bits etc.

Strangely though, I don\'t think teh Hexagon and Platformer kits are compatible

Another cool one is the Gothic building set made by Pegasus Hobbies. Its sold in the USA by Conquest Miniatures

I have two of them. They are very strong plastic building kits that are also modular so they snap togeter pretty much. The cool thing is you can keep adding building kits together to make larger structures.

The Hexagon and Platform builder sets should be compatible, wait one....

...oops, sorry, talking out my patoot, the sets are not immediately compatible, there are two different systems of attaching flooring members together.

On a side note, the Platform builder tiles are exactly the right size to use as deck plates 3d Space Hulk terrain. The Hexagon tiles are a little too large but could be cut down to serve the same purpose.

A small Platform builder set gives enough industrial/tech tiles to, when cut into 25 mm circles, base a rather large force with great variation.

Nice idea, I have a copy of Space Hulk, might have to try that

Bases idea is cool too
