Just a litte fun experiment - I do not enjoy a view of all those shiny, colorful \'Nidsm orange, pink, yellow et cetera. They do not look dangerous, alien-ish. But I surely enjoy a view of many dark-painted \'Nids over here. Dark skinned tyranid look much more sinister, so I try to make My Own Badass \'Nid Boy! ;)

To make this one below, i used only four citadels colors and two washes. Enjoy.
Crits and Comment ALWAYS welcome warmly!

I think you may have done some nice work with an interesting take on the model. It\'s hard to tell from the small pics with that glow, however. For me, anyway.

Bigger picture - sorry for the small one over here, but my pic hosting service rescale picture when I upload it.

I\'d get rid of the effects. Its best to focus on the paintjob itself and the effects take the attention away from your paint job. From what i can see it looks like a good job...but it may even be better than the pics show. ;)

Well, the photos are much better than the \"glowing \" ones. I can certainly make out more detail.

I quite like what you\'ve done there with the restricted pallet you chose.

Looking better with those new photos, just remember no effects and have a play around with different backgrounds, they can really up the score of a mini.

Try to work on blending the colours a bit better next time and either make sure you get a really good coverage with coats of paint or thin down the inks you\'re using, I\'m not sure which you haven\'t done.
Other than that, a great job and an interesting take on the model.
Nice one! :D
