I'm quite looking forward to it, at least there will be more reason for the CGI then in Sherlock movie, which I found to be a bit arse numbing.

I don't know. This looks a bit boring.

I have to agree. I've been looking forward to this since seeing the first pictures of it, but this trailer puts me off.

They seem to concentrate an awful lot on fighting some giant scorpians.

Hopefully the second trailer will be a bit more exciting.

Looks interesting, but unfortunately follows the continual march of hollywood to destroy or ignore the awesome aspects of the actual greek stories.

It makes me sad to see such metal material go to waste when you only need half a good writer to make it into an amazing movie.

This summer is going to be a blast. So many fun movies coming out.

Going to be a bad year to die in. And yes, my mind is so warped that I actually consider this. Lovely little gray clouds follow me around.

I loved the original as a kid. From what I can gather from the previews, its got much of the original just remade with new Hollywood glitz and a chunk of money thrown to the CGI guys (haven't bothered to look up who). I am a little concerned about Perseus's buzz cut though, and what looks like a journey to Hades. Got my fingers crossed, but don't want to get my hopes up.

The production values on the originals were actually quite high, especially the Ray Harryhausen stuff, which was ground breakingly good back then.

Erm I'm going to disagree here.
Clash was made in 1981 and however good Harryhausen's work was in 1963 with 'Jason and the Argonauts' by '81 it was dated in comparison with what had been achieved by Lucas in 1977 & 1980.

My bad, I actually thought Clash was a lot older, much closer in time to Jason. In fact it was Jason's fights with the skelies I was thinking of when I wrote my first comment.

Totally agree. It was good fun, but even at the age of seven it was easy to see what a bunch of bobbins the SFX were....

Harry Hamlin was shit as well :D
