No it is now possible to hide the names of bidders.

It is only a recent thing done in the last few months they started off by doing it for all auctions that went over £100 but now you can set it for private right from the start so other people can\'t see who the people bidding are.

it\'s ebays attempt at protecting bidders from fraud but a i see it shill bidding will increase in a big way and there fore put off a lot of bidders.

Maybe it will increase but it also stops other bidders from pushing the price up when they see some of the bigger money bidding on something.

I don\'t mind paying for quality paint jobs but some people will push the price up with no intention of winnning just for spite.
