how about making a clay shaper cut an eraser to the desired shape then put a slit in the top and super glue and old paintbrush handle into the little slit.

or just get o long chunky eraser and cut the desired shape into it without sticking a brush handle in.

maybe that could work

hope i helped

I made a set of sculpting tools with teflon tips and now they are almost all I use. I tried some other materials and teflon was by far the best.

You could always try raiding the lady of the house\'s makeup collection. These things I\'m reliably informed are called cuticle pushers make good sculpting tools.

It\'s amazing what tools, files, brushes and other esoteric bits and bobs that look suspiciously like torture devices they seem to accumulate.

A word of warning though, make sure you don\'t get caught as last time I tried this all I found was a clip round the ear lol

Cuticle pushers are good, Tim told me to get one so Laura gave me one of her older ones.

But...I didn\'t know what they were actually for (I thought they were for pushing black heads or something) then Laura showed me so I tried it out.

Then It just felt as if my fingernails were going to slip out.
I don\'t recommend using them, because you need your nails. If you have ever trimmed them down a little to much it really hurts, so if you had no nail it would be really painful.

I find it best not to ask what most of them are for. I once walked in on my Mrs engaged in what appeared to be removing her eyeball using a pair of pliers. Apparently she was using an eyelash curler....

Yes I don\'t get the concept of plucking eyebrows.
As I\'ve gotten older my eyebrows have developed into the toughness of Steel Wire and are tending to get a bit \"Dennis Healey\" some days. My wife plucked one ONCE, it was the first and only time she did that as the pain was increadible. Actually brought tears to my eyes.

Having learnt that particular lesson I now keep the bolt cutters handy to trim those hairs.

Cocktail stick coated with superglue, steel wax carvers, polished nail, to name a few.

Anything really smooth (i.e. glossy smooth) will leave an equally-smooth mark in putty. If you develop the right touch you\'ll easily be able to leave a sculpted surface glossy and smooth.

If you\'re using the right type of sculpting material you can also refine a surface after \'wet sculpting\' in some cases, finishing off with polishing the surface in various ways to leave it lovely and smooth.

I once had to pull my own fingernail off. I was deployed, took a hit in the hand and couldn\'t get to a hospital. I fear no pain now. Believe me, not having a fingernail will ensure that you know exactly why it\'s there.

Back on topic, I\'ve been looking for these legendary sculpting tools for months now. No art supply store in the greater Tacoma area has them. If they do have them they\'re in the super jumbo size, which I guess is popular with that set of people who sculpt life size things. (Pfft, weirdos) ;)

I would really like to order me a set of these tools, but I want to see them in person before I buy them.

Which type?

Einion
i assume he means the clay shapers

as for the big ones - these tools are originally designed for adding texture to paint so i guess they are just used on larger areas

dont\' forget they are also know as colour shapers. thats all allan c uses in his vid - colour shapers and a knife iirc

Superior quality human back hair brushes, the things you can find on google!

*clicky*

Quote from the sight:
\"We know our new line of brushes sound like a joke, but believe us, they are NOT. The fine texture and flexibility of the hair makes it ideal for finer applications. Great for script and liner work. Try them, we know you won\'t be disappointed.\"

:bouncy:???

Ok, how many people actually tried to click the *clicky*?lol
