Cleaning Arcadia Quest Unpainted Minis

Some of my Arcadia Quest minis have gotten some pinkish stains on them. I'm not sure what the stains are - I suspect my young sons handled them with fingers dirty with food coloring from Christmas candy but I'm not placing any blame :). Before being stained the minis were just as they were out of the box - no paint or treatment of any kind.

My question is what is the best way to attempt to clean the stains? What would be most effective? Are there any cleaning agents that could damage the plastic in any way?

Your help is appreciated.

That pink actually happens commonly. I believe it's a reaction with the oils from people's hands. I don't think it can be cleaned (made back gray that is).

Some of mine were stained too, I think it is related to the moulds and the production process, I have swwn some similar marks on some GK miniatures, following the mould lines.
I tried to clean it too, but I wasn't very successful so I went on with the primer (after washing them with soapy water) and nothing else happened so I wouldn't worry further.
