Clockwork Chicken Walkers?

I overheard a conversation in the local mini supply shop about clockwork chicken walkers (Think anime mechs crossed with Swatch) for use in fantasy settings. This sounds like a nifty \"best of both worlds\" approach to fantasy gaming and I\'d definately like to see a few pictures.

Problem is, I\'ve done some fair searching and can\'t find anything that sounds similar for sale, or even images of painted examples.

Is this a product that was discontinued or doesn\'t exist? It sounds like a great idea to pump up a dwarf army! Little Reaper-sized chicken walkers stomping across the field with big turnkeys sticking out of the shell...

Glory be!

Wasn\'t that on CNN during the time when NASA was testing the Mars Rover?

Seriously tho\', Adobe Photoshop aside, was the clockwork chicken walker the wet dream of my local mini pimp?

Very similar!

Those look remarkably close to what they were talking about, and New Wave\'s release dates seem identical too. Thanks so much for posting this link!

I bet some greenstuff might turn some of those lighter bodies into chicken walkers, but they\'ll always look steam-driven rather than clockwork.

glad it helped

you\'re welcome.I heard Mike McVey is involved with them. That would explain the similiarity to first gen.Titans circa Adeptus Titanicus.

mmmm.... tasty warcasters...

Yet ANOTHER thing to add to the \"must be painted\" list. :p (Thanks for the message earlier today, NSA)

Maybe by the time I\'m through the backlog the release date will have rolled around. I love that polished brass look over the robot body... It has such a delightful Mark Twain/Steamboat Willy/Apocalypse Now feel to it.
