Clue / Cluedo Miniatures?

My wife would very much like to see me paint the characters from the board game \"Clue / Cluedo\". I know the latest U.S. version of the game has minis in the likeness of the characters (as opposed to wooden pegs in previous versions), but they do not appear very detailed or durable.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a manufacturer(s) that would sell something comparable to the characters in the game?

Thanks,
Mark

Specifically I don\'t know what you might be looking for as I do not play Cluedo, but if it\'s minis you are looking for which might fit a civilian scene complete with villains, sevants and detectives then do a search on pulp era miniatures. Most major 28mm manufacturers now do this kind of figure representing all walks of life in the early part of the C20th. You will find some on the Wargames Foundry site for starters.

Funny...just last night I played Clue with my daughter and wife. Although we have a \"Simpsons\" Clue set with PVC Simpson Characters dressed up as thier Clue Counterparts, I still thought it would be fun to paint them....

BUT, I agree the PULP figures would be the best bet, in fact here is a wonderful page from Frothers with tons of ideas...Good luck!

I just took a look at that page and many of the minis there would do the trick. Now I\'ll just have to find a place that carries them. Thanks again for the tip!
