CMON Shop Update 7/22/04

OK, I got good news, good news and more good new... that pretty good, right? lol

First, both Freebooter restock and new release and Hasslefree restock and new releases arrived on the same day today! So all the orders will ship tomorrow if it takes me all night to pack them. That includes all the Hasslefree Eves and Harem girls. Those 2 items sold out right away, and guess what, we restocked right away. We have another 12 Eves and 24 Harem girls already on its way, we are taking pre-orders for them, estimated time of arrival will be end of the month.

Also, I have been thinking. I announced the price increase on Freebooter, but at the time, we were out of stock on most of the good sellers. Besides, I got this restock at the old price. So, I am keeping the old price until end of this month, so that you guys can order and get a little savings.

Other than that, we also got a restock on Hudson and Allen Ivy and Barbed Wire plus added 2 new items to the catalog - Hudson & Allen Foliage and Hudson & Allen Forest Litter. Both in stock right now. Great looking stuff for ground effects.

Testor dullcote back in stock.

Masquerade shipment has been MIA for over a month now, let\'s see what happens...

What\'s this Hudson & Allen Foliage? Is it some kind of flock that needs to be put on a base or do you have to glue it to some kind of branches you\'ve got to make for it?

I\'m pretty sure it\'s just leafy flock for tree hugger bases, but you could probably use it as tree leaves too.

Its pretty cool looking flock type stuff, that looks like leaves, I think I might order some too.

I like the images on the package.. maybe I\'ll spray some adhesive on me and try and use it as camoflague... in an area devoid of leaves.. :p

Er yeah....

I had managed to grasp the concept of flock...

...what I was slightly more curious about was the ivy, which comes in two parts, leaves and vines....

...now I think I can grasp the concept but, do you place the vines first, then add the leaves, or add the leaves to the vines and then position the whole lot???

I will soon find out when the buggers arrive:flip:

Hudson & Allen stuff

I have gotten most everything that H&A have put out, and I must say that it is incredible!

I have used the ivy three times, and it always looks dead on realistic. You put on the vines first, and then apply the leaves. I have discovered that it is best not to put any sort of ground cover flock on there before you apply the leaves. This makes it easier to recover those pesky leaves that do not stick to the vines.

Goven the cost and the relative availability of this product, it\'s best not to waste :)

Hudson & Allen part two

I forgot to mention that I had used the ground cover leaves as well.

They are basically the same leaves that come with the ivy, so the brownish-colored ones work well for dead ivy, etc.

I still have not used the die-cut leaves, but I hope to do so by the end of next week. The trick is to paint them without warping them too badly:]

Just a little update.

We just received a restock from Hudson and Allen, ie. Ivy, Forest Litter, Foliage are all plentiful in the shop again. Techstar Snowflakes have also been restocked to the proper level...

Damn! I just placed an order to the CMoN shop this morning. I ordered a package of the foilage, but I really would have preferred the forest litter that was listed as out of stock... :~(

I guess I should have waited just a little bit longer. :p

I had seen some of those H&A leaf litter for sale on different spots on the internet, but it is nice to know we can get it all in one easy place to shop...Good job Borg...


@Finn....what is it you are building? I remember in a recent thread you had been busy \'molding\' hirst arts blocks, and now you are corning the market on foilage......what are you up to?

:D THANK YOU! I could have easily made do with what I did order, but this makes me much happier! :bouncy:
