MacGyver
An 80\'s tv show where the guy would use what ever was handy to get out of situations.

What johnboyjjb said. You can now catch the hunky Richard Dean Anderson on Stargate SG1(assuming that has crossed the ocean.)

I paint my thumb.
@Ebon: Lighten up man, be more canadian;)
In a thread comparing us to Simpsons characters, we\'ll all look a bit silly anyway.
It\'s true that you are gruff, sarcastic and bad-ass , but you\'re pretty much making sense usually, and I like your style, as I\'m sure many others do.

And people plz, for god\'s sake, no more about Patty and Selma\'s secret sex life.
Geez, talk about mental imagery:|~

So I suppose this means I shouldn\'t cite my speculation on how ChubChub, their iguana, figures into it, huh ;):bouncy:

Only in older seasons, Richard Dean Anderson quit the show back season 7 or 8 I think it was.

Macgyver was kinda like the Professor from Gilliagans Island - he could fix anything with some bubble gum and a couple of shoe laces -

Except perhaps a 3 foot hole in the side of a boat!

Nope. I just don\'t agree with it. Why would you think I got out of the wrong side of the bed?

Nope. I don\'t see it. And I haven\'t lost my passion for anything I care about. You don\'t know me well enough to make that assumption....etc. etc.
I\'ve just been likened to two sexually deprived and possibly lesbian chainsmokers....

Get out of bed the wrong side this morning???

Well, to quote your signature:

\"We must find out what words are and how they function. They become images when written down, but images of words repeated in the mind and not of the image of the thing itself.\" - W.S. Burroughs

Therein lies the problem. The way you wrote in response to Funnymouth it looked like you were being very short and abrasive with him. That\'s why they asked you the question about getting outside the wrong side of bed :innocent:

Going to have to keep working on those words my good man - don\'t want the wrong images in the minds of folk :D

There are two reasons MacGyver never reached your shores.

1. It sucked.
2. Really bad.

lol

MacGyver most certainly was on TV over here! I remember it vividly! :] I thought it would have been spelled McGuyver though!

Hey, MacGyver didn\'t suck!
I loved it, to this day I still carry a pocket knife in my pocket because of him lol

Eheh.
I always hoped for a situation where my swiss pocket knife would come in handy, but alas, I mostly use it to open envelopes lol

*sigh* Whatever Reverend. By the way, Finn 17 said I got up on the wrong side of the bed. If you are going to be an enema (i.e. try to start shit) you need to know who said what. ;)

Maybe you should work on comprehending words.
Do they still make hooked on phonics?

Hoho! Cheer up grumpy!

I simply pointed out the reason why questions were asked and things were said. I read it all, I can assure you.

So, did you get out of bed on the wrong side of said instrument of slumber? :]

Edit - Hooked on Phonics eh? I didn\'t learn phonetically. I learnt the ABC not the Ah Buh Cuh. And I was way ahead of everyone in junior school :D See me brag! lol

Really though, people in glass houses should not lob big clumsy stones. It makes them look silly :moon:
