CMON Store shipping

I don\'t know if this is the right place to ask this but here goes: Does the CMONstore ship to europe, and if it does, can I pay my minis when I pick them up from the post office? I can\'t get answers to these questions by browsing the netstore :/ Thanks in advance for everyone who answer

They do ship to Europe, but you must use the payment methods mentioned on the site (i.e. PayPal or credit card). I don\'t think they have other options.

The CMON store has many really nice and affordable minis, but I feel kinda odd paying for something now that\'s gonna arrive to me from the other side of the globe in two weeks.. I know its stupid, but what if the post loses my package or something.. I gotta think about this

It does happen that things get lost in the post, but not very often. It is a bit of a gamble, but you got pretty good odds! I\'ve bought things from them often and everything I bought arrived safely. Try buying a just a few things, that way it\'s not so much money you\'re risking. I actually like buying stuff and use PayPal to pay for it. I like the idea of me sending money instead of someone withdrawing money from my credit card.

I\'ve bought from the CMON store several times and the longest I had to wait was for the 2003 Annual. (2 weeks)
Mostly the delivery from CMON store is 6 days to the UK, which considering our lack of faith in the Royal Mail, is still impressive.


Mind you it still can\'t beat the First purchase I made on the internet. T\'Char from Ral Partha in America. Ordered on the Wednesday, it arrived Saturday the same week.:wow:

If you\'re really worried about it, I recommend you pay via a credit card if possible. It is pretty standard in internet shopping that you pay when the items are mailed, very few places bother with COD delivery (especially internationally). However, if you pay with a credit card and never receive your items, you can always do a chargeback. I prefer to always pay with a credit card when internet shopping for just this reason. A question to the europeans, as I too would like to order something from CMON, but am a little afraid of the taxes.
Did you pay alot? And what about shipment, was it expensive too?

I once bought some minis from Switzerland. I forgot that they don\'t belong to the European Union. I paid more for the taxes than for the minis...

Generally, in Sweden, they won\'t charge tax for small packages. I don\'t know the procedures in Portugal, though. The shipping is not that expensive, at least not for smaller orders. $5 for a couple of minis. I think I\'ve ordered three minis and still paid $5 for shipping.

I know it seems strange at first, but I have purchased literally thousands of items this way and ...it works

The shipping is actually very reasonable.
I think I\'ll give this a try because it\'s a nice way to support the site, although I\'m fairly sure that I\'ll end up paying taxes.

I have ordered CMON stuff off and on for the last year near enough and I haven\'t paid taxes yet (crosses fingers)
I think that if you keep your order value to a reasonable size/cost then you should be OK I ordered from Solarwind once and got hit by the tax man which wasn\'t to bad but when you add the cost the Royal Mail then add for handling your goods through customs it can be a real rip off but thats the UK I guess mind you it was worth it for the models.

If something does go wrong Borg (who\'s in charge of the mail order) does everything he can to fix things.
