CMON Subscription... How long does it take?

Anyone know how long it takes for a CMON subscription to become active? I\'ve paid my subscription, but still no change to my account.

Yeah. I don\'t recall exactly how long it took, but I don\'t remember having to wait so it must have been pretty quick.

Remember that the payment has to clear and it\'s holiday season so that could be a source of delay too.

I\'m quite disappointed. I\'d rather have the account, but I have been forced to open a dispute due to lack of response. :cry:

Don\'t worry, they\'re not looking to rip you off or anything ;) Have to say this isn\'t an every day occurance, and the higher admin are pretty busy guys.

It sucks, but hang in there :)

Actually, this is the second time I\'ve dealt with CMON financially and the second time I\'ve gotten screwed. So, I don\'t think their track record is that great. Especially since I haven\'t even gotten a \"Sorry, we\'re looking into it\" from the \"higher ups\". All I\'ve gotten is hot-potato response.
 
I really do not want to sound like a moan here, but there are a lot of things wrong with CMON at present. I have seen other members mention that there subscription never came through, auctions going wrong, blogs redirecting to other sites (NOT good). I am sorry to hear about your trouble HeatherDaye, one thing I will say is that Borg is normally great at answering queries but I don\'t think he has anything to do with the subscriptions. Thanks, Borg did get back to me to tell me that he doesn\'t deal with subscriptions and would \"pass it on\". Chern apparently is not responding however. I have tried that email address as well.

I have little hope for anything being done in the next week now with Gen Con. I just couldn\'t stay quiet. I have had a poor experience with many things on CMON as well. But, I like the community and so we suffer... shrug. It\'s not the money, it\'s the principle. oh well...

Issue Resolved

Well, that took a long time, but it has been resolved. There was a problem with Paypal, and I have been refunded.

One last try for a subscription to CMON. Wish me luck! ;)

Well, it took almost a month, but I\'m happy to say I\'m now a CMON subscriber. whew...

Thanks Chern and everyone else who helped to get this resolved. It\'s a little thing, but I appreciate it!
