Hi Everone!
Some of you were already wondering what was going on with the CMON competition. In fact I was too busy to write and post this thread. So I’m very sorry, but now its on! Here are the details and all the stuff you need for entering:
First you need one of these two minatures:
\"Forsaken Warwind\", Darkage Miniatures
\"Rusty Alyce\", Wyrd Miniatures
RULES:
Only one entry per contestant
Base is limited to 40mm (round or square)
Miniature is not already painted or posted somewhere else.
CRITERIA:
Quality of Painting: techniques, layers and blending,…
Basing: layout, painting, …
Personal Interpretation: good ideas on PAINTING (freehand, unique colour shemes,…)
Story Telling: Good ideas on THEME (Does the scene/vignette tell a story easily? Can you understand what is happening by looking at the scene?)
Eye Candy: Afterall, do all parts fit together in harmony?
JUDGES:
Lizcam, Dragonsreach, Yramrag, Greenstuff and myself Jike Ichi
WINNING:
You can get 1-5 points in any of the 5 criteria. All median points will be added and the miniature with most points will win.
Best score is: 25, lowest score is 5.
In addition we want to post a list of all contestants including final score and median points made in criteria. So we can ensure everyone gets a feedback to a submited minature.
Starting now you can join competition simply by posting a note here into this thread. On 25th October I’ll post a thread in the \"Discuss Submissions\" area of the forums.
There I’ll announce the THEME for competition and there you can upload your pictures of final miniatures. After announciation of theme you’ll have 3 weeks to finish your entries (until 16th November).
Oh and best thing last, the goodies you can get:
1st Place:
Trophy,
“Anatomy for the artist” by Sarah Simblet (DK ),
Altmann & Kühne miniature pralines
2nd Place:
Trophy
Codex Space Marines (GW)
Altmann & Kühne miniature pralines
3rd Place: Trophy
Enamel plate for mixing
Brush Tube (Dailer-Rowney)
Altmann & Kühne miniature pralines
Hope many people will enter competition and we’ll get to see some great miniatures!
