Great that you join us Benjimcc. I guess competitions are always a good thing to improve your painting. Its a kind of positive stress and an extra kick of motivation.

Afterall everyone will get a feedback. So you can see whre you\'re strong and where there\'s potential to improve.

I know its still early days, but Im surprised by the low number of entries so far.
I mean the miniatures are great, and how often do you get the chance to see how rubbish your painting skills are compared to the likes of Demonherald?lol

Well, I tried again to buy the minis from Arcane Miniatures. I even sent an e-mail telling them about it, but nothing. It\'s unlikely I\'d have time to take part anyway, but I\'m not happy with Arcane Miniatures.

Had the same problem with arcane a while ago, the first order got to me after two days, the second didn\'t arrive until about 3 months later!
I hope that loads of people take part, I love this kind of comp. and it will be a shame if CMON unite dies because of low participant numbers

The thing is, I\'ve had no communication from Arcane at all. They\'re supposed to send an e-mail with the invoice and directions to pay. I know they were closed for a couple of weeks but I tried before that and after they opened again. They just don\'t seem to want my money.

I\'m sorry to hear that you got so many problems getting the minis. I thought because both of them are here in CMON shop it wouldn\'t be a big problem...

I kind of expected that it would be lesser participation, simply because its not a GW mini. We judges discussed that topic, but decided not to take GWs, simply because of the theme and the good quality of the other minis.


Though its kind of sad that a lot of people simply don\'t want to paint minis they can\'t use for their W40K armies!?

Well its not over and its still time to join in and show us your painting skills!

It shouldn\'t have been a proble but persisted with Arcane and still haven\'t heard anything from them. I guess my money\'s not good enough for them.

Anyway, I\'m unlikely to be able to take part what with me painting so damn slowly. lol
