Hello!

Klute sculpted this wonderful little fellow after my cretinous babbling on the WIP thread.

He very kindly posted him to me, and I made a couple of copies. I have to say, he is even better IRL, standing at around the same height as a terminator and very chunky.

Anyway, here\'s a finished painted Collin stood on a base I had kicking around - I\'ll create a custom one for him over the weekend.

Cheers Mark!!

Sounds like you named \"him\" before you knew \"he\" was a \"her\".:D

Love the painting Scott.Put some life into it.

Hahaha...that\'s great. Ain\'t inspiration grand?

Guinea pigs with Jedi powers. Now that would be frightening.

Nice painting... could i ask how you \"made a couple of copies\" of it? Got some sculpts i\'d like in resin, but i\'m afriad of ruining the green without making a good copy in the prossess.

And then you better get to make a painting tutorial for it. And Klute\'s gotta make a sculpting one.

Smiles and pats on the back all the way around, great work. Can\'t wait to see the rest of the army;)

I had a guinea pig when I was a wee lad. Came out one morning and it looked like Chopper had blown up. Fur EVERYWHERE.....no body. I cried. Oh Chopper, if you can hear me wherever you are, I love you..............:(:(lol

@Shawn....I feel your loss. When I was a kid my dad kept rabbits and guinea pigs in a shed on his allotment ( piece of land where poor people can grow there own produce during hard times:D )
Anyway they had loads of babies and one day we went in and the whole lot bar one rabbit had been wiped out. There was a little whole in the bottom of each cage and skins all over the place. Not a nice sight for a 6 year old.

Cue the biggest RAT HUNT in the village history.

back on topic I couldn\'t write a tutorial without going over what already is up there.1listsculpting being the pick of the bunch.

The animal is based on one of the freaky haired guinea pigs.
The clothing is based on OB1 Kenobi.
I didnt give him the lightsaber though cos Scott wanted a ninja.I didnt want to do the whole black suited stealth thing either, bit boring.
And thats a Hattori Hanzo sword he has there.

Oh it was the Hattori Hanzo sword...that is what I was remembering...

Hattori Hanzo was an actual Samurai, and I think was the basis for many of the Samurai characters in Kurosawa\'s films.

so you can call him Collin, all you want, I think he looks like Hanzo!!lol

Well I got the idea for that from Kill Bill where he makes the sword for Uma.
Knowing Tarantino there is probably some link to Kurosawa and the real HH.

Nice one Jim.:D
