Colour help

So...... I finally apinted a Formor Fiend and slowly his skin is turning out the way I wanted it too: Green, but not too orky. For a picture, please go to http://img17.exs.cx/img17/7053/PICT0051.jpg

It is nothing special and I still don\'t yet like it, but I am slowly crawling into a direction that makes me think \"My minis are not really that bad... just bad, not really bad.\"
Now the next thing I wanted to paint is the hair. The loincloth is going to be a khaki colour, the armour plates and sword Vallejo Gunmetal Metal washed with purple, with details of gold or brass. But what colour should I use for the hair? At first I wanted to use grey, but I have the feeling that would not look good. Now I am haunted by doubt what colour to use... any ideas?

I would use a dirty blonde or whitish- grey, as a contrast.

usually the head is the focal point, so use a color that is not used on the rest of the mini. It can look nice to have the rest of the fugure in dull earth tones and save (not cartoonish)a more brighter color for the head, hair, and face.

I think if you want a good color to bring the mini together a dark \"scorched brown\"ish color. If you want the head to pop out a lighter color would set it apart.

You could go with black highlighted to a dark brown, sort of dirty like the LOTR movie orks.
You could also do bright red/orange like so many GW Dwarfs.
Or you could go with funky purple, obviously dyed look. That would help bring out the purple wash on the weapons.
