Colours and effects of fire on lighting

Does anyone have any good pictures of models containing deep blues, greens and purples lit by fire or flickering flame lighting? ???

interesting, although I\'ve found lighting only works really well on a dark background, like blacks and dark greys. if you try to do two bright colours, it looks very odd to me, but i\'m oldfashioned in my tastes anyways...

Thanks for the link Vahilor. I\'m trying to keep everything quite dark, except where the light from the fire is hitting the model.

I\'m also investigating 2-d art refences as well.

talking art refernce, you know who\'s paintings have IMHO, the best lighting effects on them? rembrandt, yes, i know that it sounds like I\'m pushing a Dutch(amsterdam even ) onto you, but a lot of his paintings only use one lightsource, an unseen one coming from one of the top corners, it\'s excellent for seeing how it would look...and his stuff is nice to look at anyways Try this link:

no worries, actually any classical painter form that period would have similar stuff, but that site rocks, because they\'ve got a huge library of all kinds of art, you will not get bored browsing it, promise!

I would really like to see a mini Diorama painted in the Single light source, strong shadows as shown in the \"Raising of Lazarus\" .
