Combinations

Food combinations are great. Jam and cheese for example. here are two others:

Peanut butter and marmite sarnies. Approx 1 part marmite to two parts peanut butter. A savoury meltdown. Good on toast if you need a post-pub snack.

Tuna and marmalade. This is a friend\'s tip. He was in Sudan or Somalia or somesuch, and the locals would bring baguettes with this magic little filling. I tried it and had to testify that it is indeed a magic combination.

Any other tips out there? ???

I was going to add the tag line that I\'m up for anything, but that\'s going to see me eating anchovies in strawberry jelly or some such :D

Your kid\'s got a cast iron stomach already Donga lol By the way, tried peanut butter with cream cheese and it was doable. Not sure if it knocked me dead though. I still plump for the old cheddar and marmite. The quality option.

Airhead, sounds like a winner. I\'m going to have to have a bash.

Well, that would\'ve been my only contribution to this thread, you rat. Even better though, wash it down with guava juice.

Ah, I may have another - pickled ginger and chicken. They were made for each other.

For those of you of age, try a Michelada. Different recipes, but here is mine:

A light (in color) beer, preferrably a pilsener
A dash or two of your favorite hot sauce (Tabasco works, but hotter is better IMHO)
Some lime or lemon juice
Salt around the rim of the glass

Basically a refreshing beer with some kick.

Mayo and Oreos

Yellow mustard on dill pickles

Tabasco\'s Jalepeno sauce on Hershy\'s Kisses

\"left overs chilli\" = take all of the left overs out of your fridge and make chilli out of it all. It\'s a litte different every time. : ) (\"left overs fried\" rice can work with the right left overs)

Wow. I\'m not the only person that likes peanut butter and old cheddar sandwiches (sarnies for you brits).

My wife just gives me funny looks when I have them for lunch. Refuses to try \'em.

Salami and jam? Sounds kind of scary to me.
