Guys i need ideas for the basing of this guy!!

i want a nuclear-industrial theme... maybe something pretty laborious like a power plant or something... but also the nuke-desertical style has his fashion...



come on give me some tips :flip::flip::flip::flip:

Given the feet color, maybe on sand. I played a computer game where you are this descendant of a guy who survived the end of the world in a vault and you travel the wasteland building the skills and gaining the friends necessary to save your people who\'ve been enslaved.

Anyway, I was thinking having him emerging from a big metal vault door in the side of a rock with techy things inside, but sand and bones outside.

Given the generally birght and colorful nature of the mini in general, I think anything overly metal grey will clash. I really think the base is a good start for a base, leave the rocks he is standing on as is and work on the sub base, perhaps making it more of a liquid. Molten lava probably has been done to death and you probably don\'t want anything that generates light sources, but what about a pool of bubbling black tar? The darkness of the base would contrast with the lightness of the mini without any suspension of disbelief.

this is a REALLY nice idea... :wow:

i was in trouble because i had to do 2 different kind of bases...

one for exposition of single model (the one i\'m working for now, a water depuration plant, rusty and ancient) and one for the diorama (squad composed by 3 termi [one is the painted one, the other is a psycannoned one, the last is the termi sergeant modified to be a standard bearer] + 1 dreadnought [the modified arm is showed below] + 1 inquisitor [scratchbuild from a SM sergent])

and a version of the inquisitor... this is just a \"trial\" version... i\'ve so many SM pieces i can build an army of inquisitors :D:D:D

the shoulders are made from ogre bull\'s armored fists and the reliquiary is mad from a dwarven hammer. the claws are ogre\'s daggers uhm... i dont remember the rest .... :innocent:
