Einion, are you looking forward to the Watchmen movie? I think it looks pretty kickass from the previews, but we all know how previews can be! ><
That latest trailer is fantastic...Gives me goosebumps!

i know you´re not kidding , cause i know how much this old stuff is worth . I remember, a few years ago i read this Star trek collector´s guide and one of the listed items was a mini tricorder for kids from Burger King. It was just a stupid plastic toy, but the list price was around 800 $ at that time
Uber, i just have to ask : what did you say to your mom? Or should i say : Did you ever talk to her again?
i gasped and fell down onto the chair in my apt. it was then that i cursed a bit and told her that they were worth a ton.
you see my grandmother had burned all of my uncles ballcards from the 40\'s and 50\'s in the 70\'s after he moved out. including three copeis of the mickey mantle rookie card from topps. i think they are 50,000 bucks now each.
so my mom knew not to torch my ball cards (which by the way are worthless now) but not about the star wars....not to mention a sealed castle grayskull, he-man, skeletor, orko.....
ummm lets see she also sold the transformers collection..... all G1\'s sealed in boxes....
GI joe....
pretty much my entire collection of 80\'s toys. it took me 6 years to collect all of that stuff and now some lady who acted all weird when buying them is probably drinkiing chamblais with her homies.
grrrrr......

look on the bright side: if less people are buying them and more are being pulped, the ones that you buy will be more collectable and thus have a higher resale value
I do agree with you though, especially on the issue with graphic novel prices, double-especially on hard back graphic novels (never seen the point of those ???)

thats why i have a pc, every game goes on it eventually, usually better, often cheaper and i can\'t work analogue sticks (i\'m a mouse and keyboard guy!)Originally posted by Einion
Agreed! What galls me sometimes is how on multi-platform games the console version, which tend to not be as complete or full-featured as the PC version, cost more.Originally posted by Aliengod3
I also think videogames are way too much money.

Darthfoley- I picked up the Green Lantern book by Geoff Johns. I thought it was OK, not overwhelmed mostly as I don\'t give a flying about GL but the writing was solid for such a weak character (my opinion). So all in all a good recce. Got any others I should look into?
Look on Amazon they range around the £60 mark.Originally posted by squig hunter
Been looking quite seriously at the four Sandman collections, they are about £90 each though, mebbe once I finish some of these blasted commisions.
