Isn\'t that one that was translated into English? Might it not have lost a lot in the translation.

OMG I can\'t believe I\'ve missed the One, The Only GROO

Crtichlow seems to be busy with other stuff at the moment (2000ad maybe) so there hasn\'t been one out for ages :(

I recommend \"The Crow\" original Graphic Novel.
Forget the movie, skip the secondary comics.

What about Webcomics?

Here\'s a couple I like:
Atland - stick with it the art gets better.
Seraph Inn The home of Inverloch and The Phoenix Requiem
Girl Genius Mad scientists and Steampunk
The Flying Ferret A spoof on angsty superheroes.
Fey Winds a fantasy comic with some Manga influence.
Roza A fantasy with artwork of equal (or greater) caliber to some Disney works.

I would recomend Alan Moores \"The League of Extraordinary Gentleman\".
It has nearly nothing in common with the crappy film of the same title. And its loaded to the top with preexisting fictional caracters, which makes it quite funny for litrature lovers.
As an inspiration for fantasy art I like \"black moon cronicles\" a french comic series.
A friend of mine who is really into comics recomends Sandman, Watchmen and Promethea.
Can`t stand most of the mainstream comic hackwork, that requires to much geek-knowlege of mavel and DC universes.
As a kid I was totally into \"yoko tsuno\" (belgian comics about a female japaneese electric engineer, mostly detective and SF-storyes) and I still like it

100 Bullets
The Boys
The Ultimates (vol1 & 2 only)
Atomic Robo
The Walking Dead

THese are the handful I\'d read and liked. I am more of a manga guy ;)

Did anyone mention The Walking Dead. I just finished reading volume seven and eight of the graphic novels. Definitely a good read.
