Coming back...be gentle.

Well, I finally broke down and took a photo of something I'd finished up last summer.

Still not the greatest camera, and I have to get used to the settings, but figured what the heck, I'd throw this up and let folks see what I've been working on.

Mainly, Warmachine and Hordes stuff. ;) I've been playing a lot with two-brush blending, and most of the stuff on this model was done with that technique. I'm actually really happy with the way the reds came out (though they're a little washed-out in this photo; stupid white balance).

Compare this with some of the last stuff I had on here before my hiatus, and let me know if you think I've gotten any better. ;)

Hi Valander, What i can see it looks better then the grade that it currently have. From how it looks on my screen some stronger diffrences in shadows and higlights would be needed, this is mostly noticable on the brown areas and the skin. Also on the backside the skin almost looks a little thick, perhaps thinner layers of paint (more water) and more layers to your painting.

It is hard to see from the pictures if what i am suggesting are true, hope that it will help you. I haven´t looked at any of your more recent work and can´t compare with that.

Hiya Valander! Good to see you posting again...

I can see the shading on the red, and even if that's washed out looks pretty good....

I think the trim looks a bit flat however.

Sorry, but I think I'd need a better pic!!
