Hi Guys,

I havent been around much in the past two months or so because of all the work that I was swamped with....

I managed to paint this when I had the chance to stop and breathe.....
I am still working on her... adding finishing touches and doing something about that base.... btw... that was the original reaper base..

let me know what you all think of it.

looks good. im at a loss for any crit, bit tired, but her cloak is just rubbing me the wrong way. it looks kinda blotchy almost like yellow and white camoflauge? or maybe its the yellow used as a highlight against white? if its a yellow dress or whatever then cool but if its a white dress then it would be great to see some smoother shading with browns not yellow. if the dress is yellow then maybe get some transitions between the yellow and white. it just seems like you see patches of yellow surrounded by white. kinda wierd.

the armor and belt look good but the armor seems to have lights on it so i cant tell how it was painted overly. i dont know if your done with the base but id cover her little base there where the pewter hold goes into the slot. overall a strong mini, i love reapers line of these, one of my fav minis is the phantom holding the mace (1st time i saw something like that so well done) and im liking the cracks in the base with moss like some cool graveyard.

sorry, im talkin out me arse, g\'night.

Overall this is a very solid mini. The purple and the metal look great, and I really love the color of the cloak. I would agree with wight in that it needs more blending though. Also, I think the inside of the hood could stand to be slightly darker.

As for your second question, I hope it is still on cause I am taking a break from my entry right now (I got a whole leg done :D), but then again I am new here so wait for the mighty finn for the official word.

Its as \'on\' as it is ever going to be.

Tabitha, Button. As far as I know, people are painting up their minis as we speak. I regularly resurrect the original thread to remind people, but I don\'t do it too often as others will get sick of it.
It is not possible to communicate with every one individually as, a) I don\'t have the time and b) some people may be painting and \'lurking\' as is their perogative. The \'rules\' are all on the original post and as long as the mini is submitted with a September date it is fine.

I\'ll try to do some more blending on her cloak and spruce up her base to cover the slotted place on her base.......

Tabithan: I have to be honest, I prefered the original colour scheme. Although the metal work on this version looks a little better than the original, I still think it\'s a little too light for a wraith. (but maybe I\'m in a dark mood today!) I also think that you skills are getting better. Keep going at it girl!

Finn17: D\'oh forgot about the SPAM competition (Tooooo much painting Sooooo little time. Must quit work!!!!!!!!!!!)

Yeah I wish! The Camelot retirment fund still hasn\'t paid off yet! :(

thanks fur ya comments and encouragement Dragonsreach... I kinda changed the colour cos the blue-purple of the original looked too close to the base.... I hoped that with the new beached bone there would be a more striking contrast... but I guess its all a matter of taste in the end....:D

but not THAT Dr. Bob
I already left a comment, but just to reiterate: I really liked the paint job. \"Bleached bone\" was a great choice as purple seems to be what everyone else is doing with this mini.
