Comments on me in general...

Okay, I\'m NOT going to whine about my low scores, as I see it as enevitable now.
However, I would like any comments on me and my work. Am I painting too dark?
Too light? Did I mess up microscopically and it\'s being scrutinized? Or is it
just that my pictures are a tadd blurry and dark? No, I do not expect to win a
Golden Daemon anytime soon, neiter am I expecting to be thrown out of GW stores
for being a \"Newbie\". All feedback is appriciated. Oh, and just for fun, here\'s

I\'ll try and offer a little help. Some of the painting is a little dark. I find that in some cases the colours aren\'t really complementing each other, for example the goblin with the blue bow...blue didn\'t seem quite right to me...also his bruised eye just made the model seem more messy. The backgrounds are not helping either.. I think the best colour to use is grey, beige, off-white, something like that. The black backgrounds don\'t look good, nor does pure white. Also, one thing I personally really hate are those \"glowing outlines\" around the picture. Very distracting. The painting also looks a little gritty in some of your pictures, I\'m not sure why. Possibly you need to use thinner paint, or maybe it\'s just the photo quality. I hope I am not being too negative. You shouldn\'t get discouraged, your work is very competent and I find it is really hard to get a model to rate higher than a 6 here.

I just saw \"You stole my heart\"... hehe Hope that worked for ya! Re your pics, I agree that black backgrounds are not so good, and yes, some of your pics are very dark, eg. the goblin fanatic - it looks like a great paint job, but barely visible! The Berserkers would *definitely* look better without the Photoshop effects. That sort of thing is unnecessary, the mini\'s should speak for themselves.

I don\'t think your scores are \"low\", at any rate. They\'re certainly higher than mine, on average. I think everybody feels their latest effort \"deserves an 8, for sure this time\", but alas it cannot be :-(

Very Playable on the table top. But a bit messy on the base and too much \"silver\".

The armor has lots of potential, with some highliting & a little less ink you could easily score higher.

Much Better on the main character of this mini-diorama. The area needeing more work here is the guy on the floor. the color runs in to the dress of the main character. A diffrent color possibly a dark red or purple to accent the main character.
