nice...

I really like the Dragon Tattoo on his back.

The flesh tones are very well done, but (and this just may be my monitor) he looks more caucasian than asian....

What are the little dots on his forehead?

All in all a very solid job on a cool mini!

Really like the metal grate and the dragon. Good colors on the pants. I agree that the skin tone is too pink. Not too fond of the sculpt as it looks very thick in the arms and the head is an odd shape.

I actually like the sculpt. Too few decent looking \"asian\" minis out there in my opinion, so it\'s nice to see a cool one.

There are a lot of different skin tones among asians, so the \"pale\" look strikes me as being just fine.

Personally, I am not sure the flagstone and drain base fits the mini, but that\'s just me.

I like the forehead dots (reminds me of Gordon Liu in his old movies). I admire the dragon tattoo from a technique standpoint, but I am not sure that shaolin monks tattooed themselves like that.

It fits if you want to use him for Chinatown, Shadowrun or a similar game. Also works for older venues like Boxer Rebellion, steampunk or Victorian horror. Basically, it\'s nothing you can\'t excuse from any urban/civilized setting going back to 1000 BC. He\'d look good on a reed dojo mat too, though.

They dont ;) But I thought I would add a bit of interest... I guess it would also be ok for an alternate reality style game like chinatown/shadowrun etc.

Although saying that, part of me wants to paint his back flesh coloured again for authenticity :D

DON\'T! That is soooo coool  He is so Shadowrun, d20Modern, etc.

That back would be just empty without your great freehand.

[edit, it wouldn\'t take my post earlier, just quote.]

I know you didn\'t sculpt it but I really think he\'s way too muscular for a Shaolin. Those monks are usually pretty lean.

But the tat\'s cool. :)
