Commisioned Warboss sculpt WIP Update 22.11.06

Well I can hardly tell you how psyched I am that I finally bagged me a commision and I\'ll be blogging it. The client wants a large orc that roman style armour and a norse helmet, a scimtar and a evil sun style shield. Enough chit chathere are pictures, all the musclature will be covered up by armour and I did therfor not make it extremely smooth, he is stillvery much WIP.

So far so good. I would probably take the skirt of tho as its too thick and by the time you add details like folds etc it will be way too big. The face is very expressive.

Agree with the comment about the skirt. Otherwise, this is very cool! Loving the face What scale is he?

He is 28 mm scale, but hes larger than your average orc. and BTW the skirt has got folds in they just need making more prominent.

EDIT Update:

I made the body smaller because I knew that I was going to add armour over it all later as seen in the pictures below. The head, well it\'s my first orc head and most of it is going to be covered by a helmet anyway. Piccies below, note to self must bulk out upper chest.

nice sculpt so far. do you own any clay shapers? if not i suggest investing in some you will see a big improvement in your sculpts.

well james , frankly I\'m flattered. But no I do not think he will be cast, he is a commision and, well commisions are one-offs. However i the future weel see...
