Hi The Missus has had Tim Burton fandom piqued by Malifaux and some of the miniatures in the Wyrd range.
I can cope with painting a space marine, but couldn't do justice to most of these interesting models. Neither have I commissioned a painting and assembly work before, so be gentle and this might not come to fruition.
But we were thinking of getting somewhere in the region of 24-36 minis from the range in a few different crews from a selection of the factions.
We would like to see them well painted in line with the detail of the sculpting. I'd be happy to take guidance on the appropriate level. Simple bases in keeping with the theme of the game, decent detail without being so fabulous that we're afraid of playing them on the table for fear of ruining a masterpiece, but no so rudimentary that they look half-arsed. Without knowing how much such work costs, I would say our initial hopes are for something that would earn a 7-8 on the site.
We're in the outer suburbs of Sydney, so preference for the Sydney area, or there after Australia, then elsewhere in the world.
