great stuff. Haven't seen hybrids in ages.
Tell me, do they use hybrids in 40k? Or was that just for space hulk? I've never seen anyone with a hybrid tabletop army.

@vicegamer: Thanks! I'm really glad I finally got this magus and original Hybrids to paint. I'm a total sucker for early to mid 90s GW stuff so these were a great opportunity to work with such venerable figures. I guess Hybrid armies are very rare these days (basically have since 2nd edition really and I don't know how popular they were in Rogue Trader) but there are some very dedicated people around who do Genestealer Cult armies for 40k. Current codex Imperial Guard gives you so immense variety and freedom, it's insane. It's perfect for using for a Genestealer cult really. But when it comes to "official rules", GW decided to take this (to me, the only interesting part about Tyranids) out and don't really mention it in the fluff any more because intriguing stories and concepts are for losers. Let's have another tale of some battle in which some hero dude eats three Avatars, spits them at a Warlord titan and kill it while threehundred billion Space Marines kill sixtythousand bazillion orks with their "more venerable than usual" Dreads.
