Dream on! The only Free Red Dragon you\'re likley to get is a second hand battered copy of the Hanibal Lector novel torn into shreds for packing. lollollol.

Anyhoo don\'t you think you\'ve ordered too much Forgeworld in any case?
Time to order the Jewellery.......;)

Well you see, i was planing to go to the gamesday 2003 in toronto...everything was planned, i was dishing out minis left and right to try to make one perfect for the competition... then several minutes before i was to leave... THE :mad:ing power outage came along and destroyed my lifelong dream. That crazy poweroutage that lasted about 3 days. Any ways, i sent a letter to GW just to say that i was kinda dissapointed, and if they could help me out... THEY SENT ME THE LIMETED EDITION MINI AND A T-SHIRT!!!(i did have my ticket allready though) Yes GW is over priced... but man its hard to love em!

I once won a painting comp at the local Gw store, the prize was a boxed set of my choice. They had one of the warhammer fortressses (when it was £75), I pointed out that it was in a box and asked if I could have that.

They agreed lol

Not bad, eh :D

KingM - I think the prize goes to you for being the cheekiest person on here lol

Yah I got one of those too, and I was so happy, until i found out gw quit on warhammer online.

It came with the Gw Catalog, which is really worth buying, but gw quit on warhammer online

It was a Beastmen shamman (staf and axe) and I painted it really well and it\'s now in my tzeentch army, but the I found out GW quit on warhammer online.

I\'m sorry just can\'t get over GW quitting on yet on another of their projects and if it weren\'t for that I\'d say Gw is starting to treat customers very well, but they shut down the Warhammer online project and messed up my mood.

That\'s it, all the barriers are flying out the window now. Time to remind everyone who is really the cheekiest cheeking cheeker.

The assholes! That was such a great enthusiastic team! I guess GW does have it right though... everyone\'s escpecting a big wind down in online rpgs soon, as currently the market is flooded with them and the community is stretched too thin. Still, I feel worst for the awesome people who were working on it...:(

Oh well, at least Dawn of War looks awesome *and* highly marketable...

Wow, this thread has everything ;)

Dawn of War does look great. All Gw need is one high profile, and great game, to get the ball rolling, then they should have no problems in attracting good developers to do other games for them.

Bear in mind that the guys doing DoW made Homeworld I and II, so the game certainly has potential for greatness.

More evidence of KingM cheekiness:

When recieving a free blister pack, I went round the store to find which blister was most expensive lol

Well, I\'m not puting much faith into DoW. Mostly because it\'s made by THQ, the same people who made fire warrior.... and they also made Red Faction. So, for once I was like \"A game that won\'t suck!\" but, y\'know, I can\'t comment on the game quality BECAUSE THE FRAGGIN THING WON\'T PLAY!!!! :flame:

I save up. I get a coupon for it. I ask the lame teenager staff at Best Buy where the hell it is for weeks, and when I finally get it one little thing is wrong with it that tech support has no clue about. I would\'ve bought it on PS2, but not for $50. Not for $40, or $30. If I can find it used under $20... then maybe.

But since I\'ve had a bad expireince with them in the past, my faith in THQ has gone downhill. I for one think it\'s the fact it\'s a GW game,so it must automatically be buggy with no support (IE, Shadow of the Horned Rat, Dark Omen, Chaos Gate, Final Liberation...) lol

hmmm...

I think THQ bought Relic, so really both are doing it...

I loved Dark Omen, and still occasionally
play it. Never had a single issue with a bug.

I really look forward to DoW, and judging from the trailer I saw...

At least the graphics look stunning.lol

That trailer does look good. Hopefully the actual game play will live up to what they have shown so far.

Cheers,
