Just came home from hearing a Scottish fellow doing some GREAT Judas Priest covers (11pm here). I\'m not so good with computers either and just solved the very problem you are asking about. Go to www.photobucket.com and after signing in you can post your photos there then transfer them to CMON. The URL\'s are REALLY long. My brother (God bless-em) told me to click on the URL ( in a small box by each picture) and RIGHT click it. Hit cut or copy. Go to CMON and right click in the line where it asks for the URL and hit paste. I always check \'post preview\' first to make sure the photo made it. Good luck.

Wow, the old Vic 20! That was my first computer.

Had an Atari after that, and then eventually a 486. Then a Mac Classic. Several other intermediate machines, and now I have a fileserver/firewall/router machine running Linux, a laptop (Linux, too), and a chunky P4 dual booted with Linux and WinXP.

Still kinda miss the old Vic 20 sometimes... ;)

I got the pleasure of seeing Judas Preist last summer on Ozzfest. Rob kicked ass. They were in top form, almost like they did not have a 15 year seperation. Stole the show.

Hi Tom

First off those brushes are the dogs dangly bits and no mistake,Im using the 1 for everything but eyes and I could probably use it for them.

Photobucket is what I use and Shawn was right on the way to use it.
Let me know how you get on with it.

You started throwing leaves at your bases yet then:D?

I love a thread highjack as much as the next person, but.

I cant get my Url to work:( Am I daft or what?. All I end up with is the image id, no picture. I have copy/pasted the Url line from under the picture on Photobucket, no joy!

Help! What is missing?

Try this:
//http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v692/donga666/P1010001.jpg

Ok, so why is this happening!?!?!:flame:

@donga: From what I can gather on this end, it looks like it\'s adding another \"http://\" in front of your image name, so that\'s why it won\'t display.

Make sure you wipe out the \"http://\" that shows up in the pop-up when you click on the \"Add Image\" button; don\'t just paste your URL after it, or it won\'t work. ;)

Right now, your image is showing it\'s location as \"http://http//img.photobucket.com/albums/v692/donga666/P1010001.jpg\"

(Got that by right-clicking on the image, then clicking \'Copy Image Location\' if you\'re wondering).

See the double \"http://\"?

If you remove it, then you should get:

P1010001.jpg

Or, you can do it by hand in your post, by simply putting an [ img ] tag in front of your URL (http://www.blah.blah.com/pic.jpg) and a [/ img ] tag after it. (You\'ll need to remove the spaces in the tags, but I had to do it here to prevent it from trying to display the bogus image. ;)

yeah it is a problem with the lame addition of http:// to the url popup that gives a lot of people this problem cause most people just coppy and paste the url into it. so they end up with the extra.

its not just here. its every board/forum you find.

but as stated above just remember to delete everything in the popup when it asks you what address for the image and THEN paste the url you copied into it, and will solve this.

or just use the tag.

do you need BOTH lights when painting next to those french doors? lol
