I am very cautious in my optimism about this, considering the crap I have had to deal with from Conan movies before, but at least this will actually be an adaptation of REH. So, here is the link to a new, animated Conan movie due out in 2006:

Red Nails is one of the coolest Conan stories by Howard. The comic adaptaion by Roy Thomas rocked.

We could get into the whole it\'s smaller than life therefore it\'s a mini thing, but I guess what you would really like is smaller scale or at least unpainted versions.
Why don\'t any of the companies that do 1/6 scale make unpainted versions available? (besides anime kits I suppose).

Any ideaqs if they are going to do a live action Conan film. I thought I had heard something a while ago, and that they where thinking of having Triple H play Conan.

It is still supposed to happen, but there are nothing but rumors right now. Milius is off the project, but other than that who knows what will happen.

More \"seriously\",I like Conan movie.Mosty for the lack of dialogues and the music which sucked a lot in the books.Even Kev couldn\'t deny that!lol

The website has finally been updated, voice casting has been announced and there are some images of the main characters. Still supposed to be out on DVD next summer...

Conan animated movie

A bit of an old thread, but they have started updating the progress on this film more, so I thought I\'d share a bit.

I have lost interest in this project because they have altered the story for no good reason. The storyboard guy apparently (and this is paraphrased from the blog on the website) was just doing his own thing instead of going from the original text, screwed up and had the story ending too soon, so instead of fixing his mistake they changed the ending to make it longer.

Anyway, fellow Conan fans should check out the movie site and make up their own minds.

Also, there is supposedly movement on the live action Conan film, but that will surely be even less true to REH than this animated one...
