concerning hobbits

thought i would post this fella here for some feedback. he was done for our little ebay group comp the theme being \'concerning hobbits\' so i put this together, im a bit short on time so i decided not to go for a full scale diorama like others may. really enjoyed painting him and i am pretty pleased with him but would love any pointers to help push further

The base composition is what I like best about this mini : it really puts it in setting.

Have you tried taking a picture with a greenish background to give it a more nature/woodland feel?

As a big fan of Tolkien, Lotr and the GW range of minis to support this genre I really like the mini and I think what you have done with it is superb.

yeah they are tiny arent they?

one question - how did you do the flowers?

a mixture, i was intending to use lizcam\'s tutorial but i couldnt find my flock anywhere so improvised slightly and used some sand mixed with pink and dipped wire into them to give the tall pink flowers.
the blue were wire with blob of pva on the end and the rest were greenstuff.
the greenstuff ones arent great cos they are so flippin small but work quite well from a distance!!

That really does look good, I\'m going to try that flower trick.
Busch makes s lot of plastic flowers and such for model RR, might want to check that out.
