Wha!? I thought 18 was legal drinking age! Damnit! How can I call myself an adult at 18 if I can\'t get wasted of my ass....So basically, you\'ve got all the responsibilities of an adult, but you can\'t drown them in alcohol? What a life.

Well, legally, anyways. Forbidden drinking is funner, I suppose. Hiding out in dark alleys, etc. drinking out of a bag like hobos. Good memories.

Anyways, congratulations Chrispy, I hope you enjoy it!

For Civilised countries the drinking age is 18 lol

its just backwards places like the states where its higher (although they can start driving earlier than us :mad: )

Thanks all! Y\'know I always thought that if you\'re old enough to vote at 18, you would vote to lower the drinking age.. but in this country it all the coffin dogers who vote!! :rolleyes:

Yeah, the US is wierd...

...at 16 you can drive around a couple hundred pounds of machinery at high speeds, at 18 you can be sent off to war where you could get shot in the head or blown up, but NO BEER for you!

I think if your country considers you old enough to die for it, then you should be old enough to drink to it. Just IMHO.

One of my teachers used to live in the states, Fairly close to the canadian border. There standard saturday thing was to drive to canada get wasted, drive home.
