That time of year again. Thought I put a shout out to all of you that have or are about to walk across a stage and shake hands with some guy and get a sheepskin.

Ditto from me, too!

Though I think all they really get is an empty folder. They save the sheepskin until they are sure all bills, fines, etc are paid and everything returned :( What a rip!

We walk into the arena and sit down. We wait for about 20-30 min for people to finish up their speaches. Then they start calling our names. We walk up there one at a time and are handed a roll of papaer with a ribbon around it. We untie the ribbon, not really waiting to get there, and what does it say?

\"You need to come in and pick up your diploma on Wednesday\"!

Oooo, me! I graduate from high school on Friday. I\'ve been done with classes for over a week and all we\'re doing now is Senior Brunch, Senior Recital, Senior Candlelight, Senior Reception, whole school \'review\' of the year, then finally graduation. I just love ceremonies and I\'m so glad we get to have so many (that last sentence was dripping with sarcasm in case you didn\'t pick up on that).

its a degree for your general education requirements

basically, \"you finished the first 2 years, congratulations, now you get to take classes that pertain to your degree.\"

but at my college, most people only stay for the AA then leave. like me.

now just cross your fingers that I get into USF, or the equivalent college. lol
