This is the place to discuss your conversion ideas. I know I know, WIP forums, but this is the place to discuss the idea before you waste money on something that will go horribly wrong.

I saw that nemesis clone that is arched down with his finger pointing at the ground basically and thought, \"Why not do a conversion where that hand is doing something like in the painting \"creation\" by Michael Angelo\". what do ya think?

HMM seems like the greeks suffered from steroid abuse way back then as well. I now know the meaning of built like a greek god is.

Big chest small...o||o well you get the picture.
Sounds like a great idea for a conversion and a thread topic.

Hopefully next time I\'ll post something useful.

My idea: ogre bloodbowl team.
Problem: 1-ignorant about sculpting
2-GW ogres have their hands with some weapons or strange spiky glove

Solution:new hands from some other mini?
sculpting them anew(resulting in slaanesh ogres?)

THX

@Kraan: You can always remove the weapons just above and below the hand and leave it as a fist, it may look a little funny, but better than nothing. I think some one did make some blood bowl ogres when the plastic sets first came out...

Ok so I\'m embarking on a MONUMENTALLY HUGERIFIC TITANIC conversion of doom. Well... maybe not that much but It\'s gonna be pretty big for me... Anyways what I want to know is are terminator arms too large for normal space marines? I found the absolute perfect arm for the conversion, but it\'s a terminator arm, and the base model is in normal armor. I think I can handle the rest... Lets just say if I ever get going on this it\'ll be quite the site to see...

Let me check. It works perfectly, except if there\'s a shoulderpad, it will look a little awkward.

Thanks redsevenblue! There is a shoulderpad, but the style of the shoulder pad is part of why the arm is perfect... Excellent. Once I start finishing up some of my current projects I\'ll pick up the bits I need and get started. I don\'t know if I\'ll be doing WIP as it may at some point be used in a competition, maybe even a GD (seeing as it\'ll take me forever to get it done/started lol).

your welcome. I have a tech priest sitting aroiund and he\'s my favorite sculpt and I am hesitant to paint him at my current skill level.

@Ogrebane- Michaelangelo painted that during the Renisseance (hope I spelled that right!), and that particular section of the mural depicts God and Adam from Genesis. Not exactly Zeus.

I actually just had an idea for your nemesis clone idea... Why not have some sort of dirz sorceror/alchemist/scientist pointing up to it (say put it in a cage or something) and have the clone coloured most at the finger tip where hes touching the dirz fellow and then have him fade to black and white or dull colours away from the finger, as if the dirz guy is bringing it to life/activating it.

If that makes no sense (because I\'m bad at explaining things) then I can try again.

You know I was just thinking the new GW giant would make a good base for a large scale human. Well If converted properly... Maybe some one aught to try it. :)
